Hmmm...I'm struggling to think of a place. Hit up the F&D board and find a recipe.

Seriously? It's a lot like getting some poonani for the first time. You never knew what you were missing until you got it. From then on you have to have it all the time ....

This is John Folse's. I found when i started cooking gumbo, chicken and sausage was a little less intimidating than seafood. Both are easy, IMO.

I have had Alligator meat before and it was delicious, I was a kid and we drove through Louisiana on our way to Texas. I have no idea where we stopped but I had Alligator tail and it was awesome.

For those who say it will not work
Jerry Damson Honda, with dealerships in Huntsville, Decatur, and Florence, recently began advertising on the Finebaum show. A group of my Auburn friends at church decided we would contact Mr. Damson and inform him of finebaum's hate campaign against Auburn, and his sponsoring of this hate filled, Jerry Springer type program.

We got the response below. If you would like to contact Mr. Damson, to thank him or leave a response go to
damson.com click on the contact us .

Gentlemen,
Thank you each for your response to our web-site feedback. My advertising agency suggested we advertise on the PFS as it has many listeners in our markets. I agreed to try this out and see what we got from it. Obviously it is not worth us loosing one customer much less three!! I am not a PFS listener so I was unaware of the issues you each brought to my attention. As of today I have pull all PFS spots on 93.9 The Score. If you listen today the spot may run, but they assured me the spots would be out of the rotation by Monday October 10th. I would hope each of you would reconsider your business dealings with Jerry Damson Honda and Nissan in the future.
Once again Thank You for your comments.
Sincerely,
Deke Damson

Go to Crazy Cajun on 280. He's a Louisiana guy, and makes really good food. (If you don't mind sitting in a room festooned with LSU memorabilia...)

for all the pissing that goes on between the two teams, i will say that Bama folks definitely had a presence in helping New Orleans after Katrina, and LSU folks definitely had a presence in Alabama after the tornados. It's good to know that even two passionate fan bases such as ours know there is more to life than football.

I read that as mutual respect, too.

Oh, yeah. We may have some infighting, but when real shite happens, people step up.
