Planning on heading to Columbia for the LSU-South Carolina game on October 10th. I'm going regardless, but just trying to figure out what time the game might be. SEC games that weekend are:

Arkansas at Alabama
LSU at South Carolina
New Mexico State at Ole Miss
Troy at Mississippi State
Georgia at Tennessee
Florida at Missouri

My guess is Georgia/Tennessee gets the 2:30 slot on CBS, then Arkansas/Alabama gets an evening slot on ESPN. The Ole Miss and Mississippi State games will likely not be televised. That leaves one of LSU/South Carolina and Florida/Missouri for a probable 5:30 slot on ESPN2, and one for the dreaded 11:30 SEC Network slot. Which do you think gets which? Is UF/UM or LSU/USC the more appealing game?

Depends on what the records and rankings are of the bolded teams. If all 6 or undefeated then it will the LSU/USCe game will be a night game with Arky @ Bama the 2:30 game. CBS loves them some Bama at home.

11:30 will be a SECN game with one of the mississippi schools.
Either Georgia or Alabama game will be CBS (the winner of the earlier game between the two, most likely), then the other gets the 6:30 slot of ESPN.
After that Id guess Florida Missouri at 5, then LSU SC at 8 on the Deuce.
all times central.

I hope that's the scenario. Has ESPN done three evening SEC games between ESPN and ESPN2 before? They may have, but I just don't recall that as the normal pattern. Would be great, though!

Im certain ESPN has done 3 @ night often.

CBS wont allow another SEC game to conflict within a certain time around their 2:30 time slot, thus pushing the other SEC games to the evening. or morning.

If both teams have decent records...

Night game/ESPN 2

ESPN loves a good night game at Williams Brice and this game is already being hyped up on Twitter by ESPN analysts..
