Gruden>D.Dooley

Guess we'll have to wait and see how everything else would fall into place.

IMO, would be a good hire.

Hopefully, he leaves UT in as great condition as he left the Buccaneers.

Heard a report a month or so back that he makes over 8 mil per year. Not sure any college coach will make that money and if he wants a pay cut and have to work twice as long as he does now, then have at it Gruden. But my instincts tells me he stays where is it at..You got to know that every major NFL and college team has spoken through back channels with his agent over the past few years and guess what? He is still in the booth. : to all the vols who think he or anyone of his caliber is coming.

He can make up the difference through other channels. UCLA never paid Wooden more than $25k/year. I don't know shii, but I do know this. Whatup MB?

It didn't seem that bad to me either. Seemed like he was trying to face his problems head on and be brutally honest about them.

The only thing I would change is calling out the players on their performance. Taking responsibility as a coach seems to go over better. However, the press conference wasn't as bad they are making it out to be.

You guys can spin it all you want, Gruden would be a grand slam at Tennessee. Period.
can he recruit Georgia? Can he recruit in the state of Georgia?

If not then he is shite just like any coach of a recruit less state.

And why does everyone want Gruden?

Because as a UT fan we want a big name that can lead us out of our misery. No more little names like Dooley from La Tech we want a big name. I've got it how about George Quarles from Maryville he is a big name in Maryville.

Did anyone beside me wonder why in the hell the Saints were playing Tennessee on Sunday?

I don't understand why people think Gruden would be a good college coach.

He plays a coach on TV better'n any x-coach on TV they can get.

The jism streams from the state of Tennessee will flood the Gulf Coast if he were to agree to play Coach at UT instead of ESPN.
