What makes anyone think he would be a good college HC? Seems like his name always pops up in any coaching vacancy of note that comes up, it's annoying.

I realize that the OP is probably full of shite, but Gruden had a losing record his last 3 years at T-Bay, and didn't make the playoffs in any of those 3 years...Too many dudes have a man crush on Gruden and think that he would be the next Saban. Gruden would probably be a decent college coach, but I doubt that he would be an elite coach.
Add in the fact that he's got a sweet TV gig going and is already making plenty enough money without having the rigors of a coaching job...I think he'll try coaching again, but it'll have to wait until he gets bored with his TV job.
