See my post. He does, and he's often wrong.

In 2009, he suggested that Tennessee should have gotten a re-kick on the FG because Cody took off his helmet. There were umpteen websites over the next couple of days quoting the rule where he was wrong.

Actually, if I recall correctly, they castigated it...until their rules expert set them straight.

Attacks on officials have been led by the internet. They didn't hear from every tom dick and harry back in the 90s unless they tuned in to the radio call-in shows. It's also due to us having multiple camera angles on every play now. Sorry officials don't like being held accountable when they screw up. Hopefully it will influence Sanky to make refs full-time employees and not rich lawyers doing the job as a hobby.
