Hard to say, but he's definitely separated himself and is the best sportscaster on a brand new network. Money can only go up fast from here. .

I don't know anyone who isn't impressed with McElroy. Greg is much more perceptive than the ESPN talking heads like Trevor Matich and Robert Smith. I DVR all the SEC Network football stuff with WMC. I jump over a lot of stuff on Finebaum and SEC Nation but I never jump over McElroy's segments.

"Doesn't play the homer angle"? Did you not hear him on Finebaum the past 2 wks? I don't catch him on the radio, but on SECN, particularly Finebaum's show, he's nothing but a homer. And as for the NFL: does his daddy have those connections, too? Obviously, not a fan.
