At commentating/analysis? Or do you want him to provide the solution for world peace too while he's at it?

I want to hear analysis of the game. I don't want to hear him bitching that Anthony Davis can't sell Unibrow posters.

Right. Because he provides no analysis at all.

The funniest part is when Bama and LSU fans act like they're above it. Because let's say the NFL changed their draft rules to be the same as the NBA. You think LSU and Bama fans would be screaming to recruit lower quality players just so they could/would stay more than a year or two? Hell no they wouldn't.

I have no problem with Cal or Kentucky winning the title with One and done players. Cal doesn't make the rules, he only takes them and uses them the best way to win.

Bama and LSU are two schools that have perfected the broken unspecified team rules to not renew the scholarship for a player that is not living up to athletic expectations.

All big-time college sports is a total and complete sham in regards to academics and "student-athletes".

The day we start only recruiting athletes that meet the minimum academic entry requirements that the regular student body has to meet will be the day that we all take the term "student-athlete's" seriously.

Until then..........I say go get em Cal, Les, and Nick! Use the rules as laid out and win the best way you can!

Great post. The 'student athlete' moniker irritates me to no end. The NCAA's insistence on using it when it treats players the way they did Alfy Hill (and thousands of others, just an example that is fresh in my mind), makes me want to punch someone. I am convinced every action the NCAA does has an un-stated by primary goal of perpetuating its own job security. I pray for the day that institution is systematically torn apart in the courts.

I pretty much agree. The second and third paragraphs of this article are so sleazy and offensive to me, yet Cal is the best guy to mock any shred of amateurism that is left in college hoops.

Can't directly blame him for the idiotic system, as it exists...but, we can still look forward to the inevitable collapse of said system AND the probation of schools like Umass,Memphis and hopefully uk...that hire "operators" such as Calipari !
