The honest LSU fans did not expect the Bama game to be competitive. We have a glimmer of hope that we can keep the game close now. That, by itself, is a great job by Coach Kelly

I give him a 7 because of early season issues. But def picking it up as of lately

With the roster and culture he inherited from Coach O he has done an amazing job in a very short time. To be fair to a lot of coaches that took a while to turn programs around we have benefitted greatly from the transfer portal

A-. What he’s done with Daniels has been nothing short of phenomenal.

The FSU loss was bad, but understandable considering the team and Kelly were still adjusting to each other. The TN loss was a debacle and he got out coached by Heupel, but the Tiger rebound has been impressive. Next year it wouldn’t surprise me if they were a real threat to challenge for a playoff spot (of course they could pull mathematically pull off an SEC title this year, but probably wouldn’t get a playoff spot even if they pulled it off).

Spot on. We never gave ourselves a chance to compete with Tennessee. They did what a great team is supposed to do, take advantage of our mistakes

This team has certainly learned from that loss. Hopefully the lesson helps us with Bama

He took over a dumpster fire programs missing half their allotted scholarship players and somehow has the team playing for the west. What he has done has been nothing short of miraculous.

As an honest LSU fan. He has done better than expected. Nothing is certain but we have 1 opponent that everybody agrees should be a win. Alabama is going to win, hopefully we make a respectable showing. The other two (Arkansas and A&M) are a toss up. Kelly got rid of the prima donna thug types, and he is teaching a bunch of kids how to be a team. He is teaching the winning attitude. In this era, a coach that can teach that process to these kids is priceless. He seems to be quite capable of this. If that is the case he is worth the money. Someone posted last week about, if Saban has lost that ability. I believe you were spot on. We saw it with the 2019 Tigers. The players believed in each other. That’s what it takes to win a championship. Coach Johnson, the new baseball coach said during an interview last year, that he would not necessarily play the nine best, but rather the best nine. That says it all. I think Kelly shares that philosophy
