I hope he takes his faith seriously. I certainly do, but I don't believe the Almighty gets too concerned about who wins a football game. I certainly hope that guys play and not get injured on both teams, whomever is playing. But who wins, I believe that is up to you and your ability and effort.

the only thing God loves more than beer is football.

You can poke and make fun all you want about Dabo and his schtick. But he is a devout Christian, and the Sum Bitch knows how to build and maintain a championship football program. He is not afraid to make changes in staff, philosophy, and he can motivate his players. They love him and would run off into hell for him. I see the same type qualities in Coach O. I am an FSU alum and Bama fan also, but I give credit where it is due. My wife has really gotten to like Coach O and LSU this year. We enjoyed the OU. Beat down and she cried when she heard about the tragedy. We are looking forward to the game immensely. This is the match-up I wanted as it is the best possible match-up.

God doesn't care about football game outcomes, but He does care about each individual and their development in life. MANY if not all of those guys on that field are impressionable youth with the chance to make differences in the lives of many OR make huge mistakes that could ruin their lives completely. God places coaches like Dabo or whomever in their lives for a reason. What about players that had no father figure or male influence?
I hope Dabo does believe what he says and walks the walk with his team and family, and it is not for me or any of you to judge him either way. What's so bad about a man in a leadership position such as his, giving glory to his maker according to his beliefs?
Some real pieces of shite posting here that couldn't lead a turd out of their arse, much less, make a difference in the lives of anyone.
ETA: I wish Johnny Manziel had a Dabo around instead of Sumlin,. I'll tell you that much.

Dabo has led many to the Lord and actually has a ministry with a platform. its not just for show the man lives it and breaths it and bleeds for it,
The man runs a major college football program which by definition means he is turning a blind eye to all sorts of human abomination. Evangelicals have lost their mind in the Trump era...they need to reread the Old Testament prophets that constantly warned Israel about turning their religion into something they were comfortable with but God wasn't.

He’s Hugh Freeze 2.0.... always the first to bring up god while he’s breaking every rule behind the scenes

He didn't come to Clemson on a scholarship, he earned a scholarship. Dabo is doing something right lol

He gave him a scholarship that could have gone to someone who couldn't afford it. Not very Christian like at all.

I'm assuming if he'd lost the game he would have said, "god f-d us in the A tonight.

There's a special place in hell for people that parrot the prosperity gospel that Dabo loves to invoke.
