Oh, I must not have watched the year they had another great team and won the title? Just by way of example of what I'm talking about (remembering that this can be done with many of their teams before and since), 2007 54-13. David Price and Mike Minor on the staff, Pedro Alvarez in the lineup, number one national seed. What happened, Nomaha (by way of Michigan I think). They have had plenty since 2000 to be titleless.
Maybe this is finally their year.

So your only measurable for good teams is CWS titles? You're acting like an Alabama fan

They have one appearance in Omaha, they have made it as far as a Super three times since 2003 (including the Omaha appearance). You have no idea what the frick you are talking about.

2007 was obviously an underachievement. Outside of that year and 2011 Omaha, they've been a combined 90-84 in conference play in years they've gone to the NCAAs since Corbin has been there with their best record in those years being 16-12. Hard to chalk any of those years up to underachieving.

Their history has been miserable so making the CWS is great for their program. But then you'll just say you don't understand and list your championships so my point is moot.

I said they will punch themselves out like they always do. Then you came in here spouting your ignorance. So, I'll put it to you. Since Corbin has been there, what about my statement is inaccurate? Do they not always punch themselves out? Ok, so they do, which I just demonstrated. So basically you have no point (not altogether surprising). So I have a two part question for you: you can't argue and go frick yourself.

Don't worry Vandy. After watching State play all the decent teams in the SEC minus USC Vandy is so far ahead of everyone else in the SEC its ridiculous. Top to bottom you could be the best team in the nation. Are y'all ready for your NC for Vandy?

They punch themselves out but make it to Omaha? What's your point?
I can't frick myself I'm driving

Yes, especially considering they've made it there but once. As to your second statement, that is the type of defeatist attitude that keeps you from achieving your dreams.

Thanks man. Taking it 1 game at a time and enjoying the ride.

I guess it's a matter of perspective. OM IMO always punches out. At least Vandy got the chance to play for the title

This conversation became about Ole Miss insecurity so slowly I barely even noticed.
That would also explain why you argued with such futility about something that is axiomatic.

Not really insecurity as much as it is futility
And like I said compared to LSU of course they underachieve but comparatively and historically they are doing quite well.

That straw man is taking a beating. You should let up on him.

The straw man that lsu is usually good and Vandy until recently is not good?

Three words: small sample size.

Tell Corbin he should have coached longer. 10 seasons is too small a sample size? What is the correct sample size?

This comment represents 110% class (unlike comments coming from several LSU fans). Even though your team got swept, you have chosen the honorable disposition. I will not flatter you with how competitive your team was (even though is was very competitive). But I will wish your Bulldogs future success on the diamond and may both our teams get that elusive NC sooner than later.
