Heard that before, after Coach Bryant retired. Alabama has won at least 1 NC every decade since 1920, except the 50's and 80's. Your really underestimate Alabama in recruiting talent and NIL.
Unless Alabama goes on sanctions again, the Coach Shula days will not occur.

Alabama owns college football, most titles, most TV appearances, most bowls and bowl wins., second only in wins on the field due to Michigan having a 10+ year head start.
The very fact that Alabama averages 2 NC per decade since 1920 should tell you that.

I have seen Alabama win 3 football NC in person, and they have won more than 3 since. Have you ever seen Texas win a NC in football?
