Richt was the difference in this game. 2 big passing plays over the middle for TD's an Mizzou does not throw anything over the middle deep in the 4th qtr.
Pinkle an company better realize when a SEC team has a problem with something you better ATTACK that.
Richt found out our problems and attacked it

I will hand it to UGA...you have a hell of a team. That was an exciting 3 quarters. That being said...I dont think MU is going to be a push over for any team this year. Feels good to be in the SEC. Cheers..

Congrats on a solid win.
Thanks. Your team gave us all we could stand most of the game. Marlon Brown had his best game as a Dawg: 9 receptions for 124 yards and 2 TD's. Very happy for the young man. He was a top recruit 4 years ago but has been plagued with nagging injuries most of his career. Jarvis Jones was the difference on defense. Murray didn't have a great game but there were some dropped passes that hurt his cause for sure. You guys will get better. You have some solid skill players including Franklin and a fine stable of receivers. You just need to get better in the trenches where games are usually won or lost. Now buck up and beat Arizona St. new week. We like to see SEC team beat all OOC opponents.

Yep.
UGA covered up over the middle. Which was a good adjustment, but also our success on those two plays were the result of broken coverage.
Just because those plays where there doesnt mean that they were always available.
I have to tip my cap to the UGA defense. They adjusted over the course of the game and we were forced into a game of attrition that we were not prepared to win.
UGA has the best defense Mizzou has played in a long while. Im proud of the way we responded but I am also aware of the steps we need to take to hang in games like that in the 4th quarter in the future.
I know that many of you long time SEC fans wouldnt understand the strides our program has taken in the last decade but for a long time Mizzou fan, tonight was heaven. It really did bring a tear to my eye thinking of where we have been and what the future can hold.

Back from the game. Congratulations to Georgia, y'all played a good game.
I'd really like to pop Yost in the mouth for that dumb-arse fake punt. WFT was he thinking?? You DON'T try the fake that deep in your own end, with the score is that close! I'll be pissed off over that one for a while.
Elvis Fisher is critically important to our team. After he got hurt, they had to shuffle the linemen around. That's when Georgia started really getting pressure on Franklin. And they really pressed that advantage. That is the 4th injury to the OL 2-deep. We're just not deep enough there. But, I'm guessing that many injuries would hurt any team.
Overall, I was really pleased with how the defense played. They looked good, especially the linebackers.
The Georgia fans were great, and seemed to really have a good time in Columbia. And I was really glad to see how hospitable our fans were to them. Several Georgia fans stopped me on the way out of the stadium to tell me how nice they thought our fans were.

Thanks.
We have been beaten by many good teams over the years. I have to say that the UGA team this year is a national title contender. Not because they beat Mizzou, but because of the way the team adjusted defensively over the course of the game. That was a dominant performance, minus 4 starters on defense.

and our coaching needs to get better. In the Big 12 you can fake punt on your 35 not in the SEC.

Thanks. Jarvis Jones showed the nation why he is the best player in the SEC.

Here to echo the Mizzou fans here and ditto everything else.
That is one absolutely nasty defense. Jones is every bit the defensive freak at LB that Suh was on the defensive line...just an absolute game changer. Stinks that we had our chances...but you can't make mistakes like that against a top 10 team...especially one that makes good adjustments and capitalizes on mistakes in crunch time.
Ya'all are a bunch of pricks for the most part, but I enjoyed this week. Maybe not so much the 4th quarter beatdown...but everything else was pretty fun. Oh, and Georgia may have been missing some defensive starters, but we were also missing the Big 12's top returning running back the past 2 years. Probably wouldn't have made a difference with our o-line problems..but worth mentioning.
Looking forward now to punching those fricks from ASU in the mouth next weekend.

No but Jarvis made some adjustments...He picked it up a notch or two. He was the difference along with your O-line. They I think finally wore down the Mizzou defense. Sheldon was looking like and oldman on the sideline in the 4th Q.

Actually, after Fisher went down, and they shuffled the line, it seemed like they got alittle better. I didn't see as much penetration accept for Jarvis, I mean he was possesed last night. NFL linemen couldn't have stopped him.
