and honestly that is just flat out stupid. Sorry, I dislike LSU as much as anyone on here. Argue with their fans about everything from Tarps to officiating, but Ole Miss fans/admins are acting like spoiled children here. Kiffin built that program, gave them life and a pulse, and then when he takes another job (that he was forced to decide on), the fans decide he did nothing for them.
frick off with that. As a Carolina fan, id love to have us get built up. Id be pissed at my admin if they didn't let that coach be there for the playoffs, and I certainly wouldn't be treating said coach with this level of disrespect. Yall were on the same level as SC, MSU, UK before Kiffin
That's pretty much how I see it.

I mean Larry Coker was the coach of 2001 Miami. He is remembered in the true highest of regards of coaching history and not for riding the coattails of butch Davis. (Sarcasm)

It's officially time for you to step away from the keyboard, the KDS is rampant.

If I am Golding, right now I am working on Weiss to get him to stick with Ole Miss as OC.
It has been explained repeatedly why this won’t happen from both LSU and OM sides.

Save this post. Golden will be run out on a rail in less than 48 months

Kiffin used us. It’s fair for us to take the same position and reciprocate his behavior! Why LSU fans feel it’s “unfair” to Kiffin is really odd. Can’t have your cake and to eat it too.

LSU-OM is not Carolina-Clemson. That is a wild comparison.
You’re correct. The Carolina Clemson rivalry pales in comparison.

He is already signed with LSU.

If your coach left a playoff team to go to Clemson you definitely would feel the same way and you are just lying to yourself if you believe otherwise.
You forgot the part where Kiffin wanted to coach the playoffs and LSU let him but Ole Piss said no?

It’s easy to coach a team loaded with talent .The next 3 yrs will tell the tale.A lot of coaches won’t their 1st season it’s after that when they have to run the WHOLE PROGRAM is where the problem comes. Its a hell of a lot more than Saturday nights especially for a coach who said he didn’t want to be a head coach.

In 1989, Bill Frieder of the University of Michigan hoops team announced before the tournament that he was leaving to take the Arizona State job. Bo Schembechler, the AD, said he wanted a "Michigan man" to coach the team in the NCAAs. He booted Frieder and installed Steve Fisher as the interim. The Wolverines ended up winning March Madness. Very few people remember Frieder as the coach. Steve Fisher is almost universally recognized as the championship coach.
