It’s the reason people think KY can be a football school too and Mark Stoops is a top coach in the league and better than most outside. The East has been missing out on SC and TN dearly, and FL for the most part. At least 5 years now. It kinda sucks.

If you think the SEC East is embarrassing now, you shoulda been around to see the shite show that was the SEC West in the 1990s.

UMD is a joke of a school and widely viewed as the backup of the Mid-Atlantic. I have a brother at UVA and a sister at Gtown. Both would rather disavow a BA entirely than attend Maryland. An irrelevant state with an irrelevant university.
Hopkins (where I got my MA) is obviously a different league.
