Roy Kramer: Tennessee homer, there is a reason that Tennessee’s last period of relevance was when he was commissioner.
Mike Slive: made a few missteps but led the SEC to being the most dominant league in football and the overall strongest league.
Sankey: is leading the SEC into mediocrity in football, getting whipped by other commissioners, and seems to be much more worried about his bank account than the SEC.
That is just my gut feeling based on zero sources, just my perception of them.

Pretty easy ... Mike Slive was a visionary. Greg Sankey is ... not.
The SEC will contract, for the first time, under Sankey. He's just grabbing for the sake of grabbing, and keeping up with the Jones. Diluting the brand.
And yes - that means Texas. Oklahoma was a fine grab. Texas will leave this conference for the next greener pasture. I give it less than a decade.
