When y'all scored to make in 24-17, why did Mullen elect to do a squib kick, instead of an onside kick? I realize with a quirky bounce y'all MIGHT have recovered, but the odds go down a lot the deeper you kick it.

Sure I can take the Troy loss since we have 2 NC since 2000 and the same coach who lost to Troy has that team back to #1 in the country 2 years later—Imagine being a fan of a team who hasn’t won a NC since 1980? I simply can’t— can you?

Actually it’s strange you mentioned that— during the WLOCP all I kept seeing was CBS advertising the game of the year versus the top two teams in the country next week with the #1 team in the country versus the #2 team. Neither of those teams was Georgia though (both were undefeated) and nobody was laughing.
