No we won’t. There is a voodoo on the series right now where the home team sweeps every year

You haven't seen Noland.

Noland's talented, but young. It depends on which Noland shows up, but I'm sure he's pitching on Sunday because the Saturday Noland was struggling.
Today we beat MSU's #2 pitcher with our #3, so tomorrow it'll be our #2 against their #3 and that should give Noland a better chance.

Our number 2 pitcher is pitching tomorrow... JT Ginn

That may be why Noland is pitching tomorrow

Downvote.
State has great baseball fans. They taught the SEC to care about college baseball.

You did us all a favor. They have been on suicide watch since their basketball hire.

Noland is pitching today because Scroggins is out injured. Wicklander is looking like the starter when Scroggins comes back.
Noland has no business starting on the weekend in SEC play. Unfortunately, he is about all we have left starter wise.

Well, at least we got the series win. Won't be a sweep.

Noland is usually good for the first 1-2 times through the lineup and then the wheels fall off. If he gets through the 3rd or 4th, we've got Kostyshock for 1-2, Zeb for 1, Denton can get us 1, and I think Cronin can come in for the 9th. Ramage makes me nervous, but he didn't pitch much yesterday. Hopefully he can pull his head out because he was solid at the beginning of the year. I think this is gonna be a 7+ score from both teams though. Gonna have to get outs!

Nolan’s didn’t record an out his last start and a start prior went 1 1/3 inning.
He hasn’t made it through anyone’s lineup even once in a while.
Color me unimpressed

I'll give you his performance against Vandy was mediocre, but that was partially due to his defense, and he got yanked for not covering first. First batter was a weak grounder that was well placed and advanced on a throwing error. 2nd one walked. 3rd batter was a screw up as Franklin and Martin collided. 4th batter was another grounder, and he didn't cover on the 5th batter.
His performance against Auburn was solid. Made it through 3 innings giving up nothing and then gave up 1 in the 4th and 2 in the 5th. Not too shabby for a freshman. Also highlighting my point that he can get through the lineup 1-2 times.
Against Ole miss he went 4.2 and only gave up 2 runs.
He sucked against Bama.
And against Mizzou went 4.1 innings only giving up a run.
He isn't going deep into games, but for a freshman pitcher that was going through spring practice with the football team, I think he has done ok.

Best he's pitched yet. That's Peak Freshman Noland so far.

Noland has been our #2 all year, so you're saying he's been bumped? I just watch the games and don't keep up with the news.
