Chavis had all summer to get ready for ASU. He is a solid DC when given that much time. But, it's the week to week preparation that begins to suffer and he reverts to old bad habits like 3rs and Chavis. The good OCs will have him figured by mid season.

Their defense looked great. Let everything play out before we make any judgements. Obviously there was a deficiency in the past few years with how the defense performed at LSU.

I would be more worried about Steele having to prepare for Ms. State after wasting all that time on McNeese State, a game not played that could come down to a bowl game or not for Steele and LSU.
