I had Florida as being a tough matchup for them in Jacksonville this season
I'd say your predictions are much more pathetic.

I can understand the schedule argument when the quality of the team playing it is in doubt, but at this point are we really skeptical about whether or not Georgia is legit?
All of this seems silly.

It doesn't really make a damn if they whip arse in the playoff
With a healthier roster per always like the SECCG, so yeah it matters.

Seems like quite the assumption

In 2017, Auburn got the shite kicked out of them and lost the bulk of their offense in a win against Bama. You played Tech in a nothing blowout. You don't get beat up in nothing blowouts.

Against a Paul Johnson offense, you do.
4 quarters of diving at your shins (sometimes diving at knees when engaged with another blocker).
It wasn't 2017, but we have lost players for a 1/2 in the SECCG because of fighting that broke out against the nerds.
You are underselling what that game was.

Sure, but if they mess around and drop just one they're supposed to win at this point, it's going to be increasingly difficult to recover, solely based on SOS.
Really won't matter.
2 losses ends pretty much any playoff chances for anyone.
UGA loses 1 during the regular season and wins the SEC, they're in.
UGA goes undefeated in the regular season and loses in the SECCG, they're the first 1-loss non-conference champ to get in. 9 times out of 10 that means they're in.
UGA loses 1 in the regular season and misses the SECCG, that's the only case where SOS would really matter. They're probably still in unless the other non conference champion option is a 1-loss OSU, Michigan, SEC non-champ, Oklahoma, Texas or USC. They'll take UGA over a 1-loss Oregon non-champion or TCU.
