We saw him as much as Georgia wanted him seen.
He was coming off a February ACL tear where the conventional wisdom would be to shut down college football and prepare for the nfl draft.
Is this new information for you?
He was on a pitch count. Both as advice from our staff and his draft team.
Seriously. We were lucky and blessed to get anything from George. That is how much he loved college football.

So in one sample we saw AL win by 17
In another sample we saw GA win by 15
In one sample we saw AL need an unforced error and OT to beat Auburn and their second string QB, we saw Georgia win in the same field by 24, with the AU 1st string QB.
We saw Georgia beat Florida 34-7
We saw AL beat FL 31-29
We saw Georgia beat Arkansas 37-0
We saw AL beat Arkansas by 7
We didn’t see Georgia lose to an 8-4 team
We didn’t see Georgia struggle to beat a 6-7 team with a broken roster and a fired HC.
When 6 data point signal a reality and 1 data point signals a different reality
It’s likely we can dismiss the single data point as a fluke.
Or we could just play a game on a neutral field for all the stakes and declare a winner. Yeah let’s do that.

We played plenty of backups. Georgia rotates a lot. Cuts down on injuries and players get experience. Maybe Saban could learn something from this.
Coaches rotate due to fatigue, not injury fears. Coaches play the best players as much as possible which is why you don't rotate OLs, QBs, etc. as they don't run as much.

Be thankful y’all didn’t see Pickens for the whole game.
We saw him as much as Georgia wanted him seen.
The stupidity of this post is boundless. Maybe we saw everything from Williams that Bama wanted us to see. When Aaron Murray tore his ACL against Kentucky, he finished the drive for the score (about 5 plays). Maybe Bama held back Williams on purpose because that is all they wanted him seen.

Backup Bennett passing to backup AD Mitchell for the go ahead td, that was clutch.
Backup Bennett and transfer starter JTD. That's funny.

The 17 point win was over early in the 3rd quarter when Bama went up by 21. The 15 point win came down to the last minute.
All of that is irrelevant to Bama/Georgia games.

Pickens played more plays against Bama in the SECCG than he did the in the NC game over a month later, so he could have played more if Georgia had chosen to play him.

Which has nothing to do with you not being willing to acknowledge your own TE is the best Te in the country. That's funny.
Do you think he was the best TE? Explain why. Pretty sure other tight ends had better stats.

Uga wanted him for 40+ plays, so no.

You don’t know shite about coaching football.

If they wanted him for 40 plays they wouldn't have played him fewer plays than they did over a month earlier.

He didn’t play 40+ in either game, which helped bama a lot in both games.

You don’t know shite about coaching football.
When you claim something like that it is wise to actually explain why. If the OL has the heaviest contact on almost every play, pushing, getting hit low a lot, etc. why do they play the whole game and not rotate like receivers, rbs, etc.

You want me to answer when you haven't even though it is your own player.

I know how many he played. You haven't stated whether you take the bet.

Must not be about fatigue as you claimed.

The OL doesn't run like other positions, so it is about fatigue.

So why have you never, not once, ever told us how many he played? Because you don’t have a link.

It’s your point, not mine, and you don’t seem to be able to explain it.
Go ahead and explain what your point is.
