Tune in to hear Herbie cheer on the Sooners

Watched about 19 times now. Keep wondering if UGA just had a great comeback or if OU collapsed. At one point it appeared OU was going to run away with it.

Their offense didn't do shite after halftime outside of one drive.

Gotta say I really enjoyed that game.

Was there. Got a t-shirt. What a great day to be a Dawg.

At halftime, Kirby broke Roquan off a piece of magic corn pone and all hell broke loose in the second half.

Sooner fan here, great game and congrats to the Dawgs. Was pulling for you in the natty. Lotta respect for Kirby and your running game was incredible and D took over the second half. ESPNU re-played the game alot over the summer...I must be a glutton for punishment. Good luck this year and look forward to a rematch in many playoffs to come!

The Dawgs shut them down. Herbs picked against both SEC teams in the CFP

I went through a range of emotions over the course of this game that I've never quite gone through before.
Went from the first half being dejected, thinking the whole season was gonna get invalidated by getting our asses kicked,
To then going apeshit when we dominated the 3rd quarter to take the lead.
To then being sick to my stomach after they ran Sony's fumble back for a TD.
Then everything after that is just a surreal blur until Lorenzo blocked the FG. I couldn't believe we had gotten into one of those all-time classic shootouts on a meaningful stage and fricking WON IT.
Still remember where I was sitting, what I was wearing and everything. Amazing night.

Herbie talking about OU putting a hat on a hat....that's a penalty now.

I will say Oklahoma's offense surprised me. UGA's defense did tighten up in the second half but OU definitely was having their way with them early. I really did not think they could score like that on the defense we had last year. It was a great game

Ive watched it at least 10 times. Love that last minute play by Sony! And we'll be kicking everyone's arse again this year. Count on it.

Hey Rig. Glad to see your still around.

Georgia fans, special teams were also big in the Rose Bowl, with our miserable squib kick right before half that led to points and obviously you blocking our field goal in overtime. OU brought Shane Beamer over to coach Special teams and tight ends. First time in a while OU has had dedicated special teams coordinator. Georgia had great special teams and obviously having the pedigree of a Beamer has me sold. What can you tell me about Shane Beamer and his time at UGA or what to expect on special teams?

Watch Kirbys reaction after the blocked kick..he has a Ricky Bobby "im not sure what to do with my hands" moment

Two major factors that contributed to UGA's special teams improvements under Kirby.
1: Kirby puts starters on special teams, not just the return man, but all the headhunters and coverage guys.
2: Kevin Butler, HOF kicker, became a GA while working on his masters degree and could spend unlimited time with the kicking units because he was just a Grad Assistant and not a "real" coach. He finished his masters so he's gone now, but he had a big influence on the improvement of UGA's kicking game. Imagine if John Elway went back to grad school at Stanford and became a grad assistant to the football team and had unlimited time as a QB "coach" without NCAA restriction. But for kickers.
Neither had anything to do with Beamer. Not to say Beamer is a common schmuck, but to say the two biggest factors in the improvement of UGA's special teams had nothing to do with Beamer.
