Still making excuses, damn Bama Roll out the Excuses should replace Roll atide.

I swear this is the last time I'll respond to this crap but the only player UGA had that was responsible for 2,700 yards of offense (Williams and Metchie's totals) was Stetson and you damn sure would have mentioned it if he went out in the first quarter of the Natty and you lost. But you won fair and square and it doesn't diminish it when others think the loss of those 2 made a difference.

I don't think so, either. I do think that Kelly will do well at LSU, but for any of them to ridicule Kirby is mind boggling.

Some of your fans having the attitude of "we're already in" will make the season miserable for you guys. If you beat a Tennessee, Florida, or Kentucky by "only" 10 you can't enjoy it because you didn't win by enough points.

It is new territory for us and some aren't sure how to handle it. The higher you climb the farther you fall. I keep telling myself to prepare for a loss or two this season, but I know when it happens it's going to hurt like a busted hernia. If we make the playoffs again, wonderful. If we don't, I still have the joy of 2021. I don't have to burn my championship gear. Bulldog fans need to realize last year was special and might not be duplicated for a bit.

Monkey off back, certainly can screw anything up like any college team, but given all the 1980 shite, its time to have fun with the excuse makers.

This is a pretty dumb take, and I suspect you know it. I mean, just because they didn't have stats to match doesn't mean they were not as valuable to our offense in our offense. I mean, Alabama did not have anybody that matched Adam Anderson's production missing either. Does that mean that nobody was missed off Alabama?

Of course we were not missing the stats offensively that Alabama was missing. Because our team was not build around offense. but we were missing tons of defensive stats...

Tykee Smith was a 3nd team All American the year before. Adam Anderson was a projected 1round pick. We had several other defensive players missing from a team that primarily relied on their defense. For us to say Alabama's missing players made no difference because you were not missing the stats we were is silly.....and I suspect you know it.

What will UGA's excuses be when it takes them 4 more decades to possibly win another.

Face it, UGA is on Auburn's level (one NC every 40 to 50 years)

I wish some of our fans did less talking, but it really is less than some other teams have done in the past, so it's hard for me to blame them too much. And it is not totally unheard of for fans to speculate....and doesn't do any harm. I mean the fans don't play the game.

Hopefully it will, but you are correct. There are no guarantees.

This is another dumb take. You should just stop. It might take another 4 decades....or we might win another one this year or next. Who knows? Past results have no bearing on future results.

Why on earth do you let a couple of trolls get to you. You're better than this to let them bait you into making statements like this.

Yes, to the eventual national champions (or national championship game attendee) in two of those three years, and then he got his revenge in the other.

Yeah, the 2018 game was bad, but it's not like anyone else beat him in 2019. You're really just talking about one game.

And won the one that mattered most by 15.

No, based on wins and losses to Auburn, Bama is closer to their level than we are since 2010.....

If CKS keeps doing what he's doing, it won't take another 4 decades.

We only won in 1980 because we had a great defense and a dude named Herschel Walker running with the ball. Smart has been building more or less complete teams since he's been here.

Their NC was almost entirely due to a single player (Cam Newton) and a few members of a supporting cast. UGA isn't winning games due to flukes being added to the roster.

I think Kirby is a better coach than Dabo (I'm slightly biased) so based on that it seems we would win another title within the next 2-5 years. Still...no guarantees. Clemson fans were humbled last season, and it could happen to us this year. I'm just glad the 1980 monkey is off of our backs and that Georgia football is so much fun to watch.

We aren't bitches like Bama fans. Lol

We had significant injuries in 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2021.
That's football. Recruit better.

What's the matter? Aren't you going to respond to my Brian Kelly post? maybe you want to point out all of his accomplishments in his 32 year Head Coaching career?

I’m sure he will be fine. If O and Les can win a natty pretty much any coach can win one.

Well that might have been the problem. Even Saban hasn’t won a natty with a black QB.
Maybe that’s why Kirby sent Fields away.

Dabo fired an AA Qb and replaced him with a Tranny.

I think overall he is better than Dabo. I get the feeling that Dabo depended heavily on his assistant coaches and was smart enough to step back and let them do their thing. Kirby supplements his assistants. (as does Saban, imo) I think they stay involved with the daily goings on but lets their assistants do the heavy lifting....but Kirby can step in when an assistant leaves and keep things going.
