Looks like this upcoming UGA class will make the SEC East a dead even race the next 3 years

We've always had enough talent to be 4th to 6th in the conference.

But Kirby does have some more learning to do.

Not sure what your poor math skills have to do with the thread.

it's worth mentioning that although we have had some decent classes, we have frequently lost many of our best players to injury, transfer & suspension plus many of our top prospects just never panned out

also in the past, our hefty recruiting ranking were centered around one or two "impact type" guys

so; when a highly touted 4* QB winds up being a punter and the 2nd coming of Herschel Walker gets kicked out of school for being a thug & getting caught with a firearm in his car; it goes a long way towards diminishing the class

what LOOKS and FEELS different now is that the class looks more well rounded than any we have seen in quite some time

sure, every school loses guys for one reason or another; but when you stockpile classes like Bama has done (and it looks like we may be starting to do); then those types of losses don't hurt so much

This is not surprising considering you are a UT fan.

Shoo wee Peter beaten to the punch by 2 other UGA fans, and you still come in here with that weak stuff

Didn't UF recently lose to a triple option team with much less talent than GT.

Yep, and then fired the loser responsible.

I love the arbitrary dates you keep using. I say UGA beats UF quite often since they have 50 wins against them.

Check out these arbitrary numbers.

Florida has now beaten Georgia...

21 of the last 27 in football
21 of the last 25 in basketball
24 of the last 32 in baseball

So I guess UGA arbitrarily sucks at all sports?

This class is great. But butch and freeze had classes like this too. You have to stack top 5 classes to become elite, and next year is not looking good for the elite in state recruits for. UGAis already behind on a lot of the top 10players in the state.

I hate recruiting sites. They have ruined college football. Its about coaching and always will be. Kirby may recruit like Bama and OSU but Kirby isnt Saban or Meyer. Time will tell. I still think Kirby screwed up hiring Chaney just to get a position coach in Pittman. Chaney is average at best and his offense only proved that this year. Worst offense in Athens in a long time.

As much as I dislike UGA due to rivalry and them owning AU since Richt got to UGA, I like them better than UF or UT. If any of the 3 go on a run I would rather it be UGA.

The next few years will mainly be between UGA and UF in the East and the usual suspects in the West, Bama clear no. 1, followed by AU and LSU. I look for MS St to jump up into the top 4 of the West with Arky, A&M, and Ole Miss bringing up the rear.

We only play three sports and our rivalry only goes back 27 years?
