Consistently sign top recruiting classes and usually ranked in the top 10
Have won the SEC East 3 straight times and 5 out of the last 10 seasons. Won the SEC and made it to the natty in 2017.
Actually gets stops on defense
They got GOATed by Saban a few times and by Burrow last year, but they are always an elite team and very seldom have bad losses with the exception of USCe. Some day they’re going to break through, right?

I think this is their best shot this year. It goes through Bama for them. But the Bama defense is a mess.

No national titles since 1980.
It’s the most pathetic, underachieving record in the entire sport.

We might be underachieving on winning national titles but we make most or rivals our little step children every year and we win a lot more than we lose so it could always be worse. As a Falcon fan, it’s almost expected misery.

Auburn is in the same state with their biggest rival who has won 15 titles and they have two. Of those two titles Auburn has won, they were on probation for paying players in one and under investigation for paying players in the second.
So tell us something. Why can a team in your own state win 15 titles and Auburn only has two? Sounds like Auburn is the underachiever to me.
