Given that there are no junior or senior stats for Ehlinger, it's a stupid fricking argument both of you are making, although in terms of relevance to the Sugar Bowl, his point is probably just a bit more relevant. Ehlinger has the same build, runs tough, and this year hasn't been rattled much.
He's probably going to be a strength of Texas.

I admit, Ehlinger is definitely an improvement over Swoopes and Buechele.
I'm hesitant to say I'd prefer him over Mond due to the latter's ability to activate God mode sometimes.

Well Swoopes couldn’t complete a forward pass so that’s not good

A comparison of sophomore to sophomore is not stupid. Tebow had a passer rating of 172, Ehlinger is at 148.
