No, I am not. I think we’re more likely to get blown out than win the game and I spotted Georgia 15 points. If I say something nice about Oregon, don’t take it personally.

I don’t know of an Ohio State fan that roots for Michigan ever. This goes for most of the rest of the conference as well.

I don't think Kirby will run the score up on Lanning if he has the chance. If UGA goes up 2-3 scores, Oregon will see a lot of our running back depth and the clock will roll.

That’s very nice.

He doesn’t run it up on anyone, which is why some think our O isn’t top 5 in the nation.

Everyone doesn’t see a top 5 offense because of your qbs and WRs. Garbage scores don’t even count with any reputable analytical metric anyway. As long as Bennett is your qb, and the Burtons’ in your WR room are transferring, no one is going to see a top 5 offense.

You realize that we're not Washington St? Burton is far from our only receiver. One QB won a natty , two are 5* and Beck that's a 4*. RB stacked. OL stacked, TE Stratosphere zone. But yeah, there's no way we should think our offense as top 5.
Here's to talking football with someone from Oregon.

This was our O last year according to reputable analytical metrics :
Points Per Drive: 4th
Points Per Play: 3rd
Yards Per Point: 3rd
OFEI: 3rd
Offensive Available Yards %: 6th
YPP adjusted: 3rd
Drive efficiency: 4th
TD rate: 4th
Value Drive Rate: 4th
Busted Drive Rate: 3rd
Turnover Rate: 5th
Yet according to you, it wasn’t top 5.
Keep in mind that was with Bennett,
who didn’t get meaningful off-season reps, and a very injured WR corp.
This year he is getting those reps and our WR corp is much healthier so far.

I watched everyone of your games last year. Stockton and Vandergrif aren’t there yet. There’s a reason Bennett is the starter.
Also, everyone on the West Coast knew Bryce Young was prodigious. Not all 5* are created equal.

I was going to state that top 5 isn’t even the mark. It’s usually top 2 or 3 and then a cliff.

I’d love to see UGA get upset but this will be a blow out. You can’t really speak to the differences in the talent and depth in the trenches until you get on the field. UGA should be able to control clock and run the ball all night. Way bigger and more talented o line against Oregon Front 7. I see like 37-13 type game.

I doubt that is true, but it doesn’t matter as the only thing being debated is top 5.
The advanced stats prove uga O was top 5.
Can you acknowledge that?

How much do you know about Oregon’s front 7?
Seriously. I watch way too much CFB. So, these kind of comments fascinate me.

Wrong quote there, right?
Posted on 4/17/22 at 11:56 am to djsdawg
Right, I heard the same shite from tOSU fans. “Our OL is a bunch of dancing bear 5* recruits, blah, blah, blah…”. We basically owned their run game and that was without Thibodeaux and Flowe. Hell, we had a walk-on and two true frosh ILBs rotating in, one of which was a converted safety.
Aumavae at nose tackle owned Biadasz in the 2019 Rose Bowl. I am sure he will hold his own.

That’s fair. It does take time though. Lanning is going to have a good program eventually.

I changed the quote. Yes, I acknowledge the advanced stats show top 5. As previously mentioned, top 5 is arbitrary. I watched your qb have a difficult time throwing into tight windows yesterday. There are about 2 to 3 offenses every year that scare me. Georgia’s isn’t one of those.
Also, Burton was your difference maker at WR.

He’s inheriting a good program.
