How'd that work out for them?

Others have answered how it has worked out, however Alabama also has not been shut out in the playoffs (31-0), and has not lost any games by 20+ points ever under Coach Saban

Remind us how you felt after the 2017 championship game? How many times did you watch that 21 point Clemson 4th quarter?

We had 4 recent championships including an amazing one the year before. I attended that one in Arizona. And the other 3 in Pasadena, Miami and New Orleans. And last year in Atlanta. The only one I missed was the one we lost, because my first child had just been born. All in all I felt okay about it

Well that's great...give Kirby, Reed, and Godwin a few years, and a great win this Saturday, and I suspect they will feel ok as well.

They made it to the playoffs the next year, and lost to the eventual national champions. Then, many of the guys on that 2013 team won a national title in 2015.
