UGA is a special case because they choke so often and just can't seem to finish the job, despite having one of the most stacked rosters in the entire country.

Unfortunately for your dawgs, the only way they can change the narrative and make people forget how badly they like to blow big games is by, you know.. winning something.

Dabo couldn't talk sportswriters out of using the term "cleamsoning." Even though on a number of occasions he tried to shout it down in his pressers. It finally took on the field production.

Georgia should be thankful some imaginative writer hasn't pegged them for their own football futility.

First you sound like someone who believes in horoscopes and full moons. Tell me what big games “we blew” since Kirbys been there?
Second 2017 SEC Championship is “winning something”
Third we’ve given you mighty Crimson Tide all you can handle in big games. With your roster being superior to ours?

So I don’t know WTF you’re speaking of ???

Our fan base is one of the worst and is our problem.

Our fan base is happy:
(1) to make posts every single day about a player from 40 years ago
(2) to yell/post "run the d*mn ball" like it's still 40 years ago
(3) to give coaches way too much rope because they like them personally and we're a good, but not great, program
(4) to not win big and to not expect to win big

It drives me nuts. We have arguably the best access to talent in the big three sports - Georgia is a recruiting mecca for baseball, football, and basketball. The SEC programs with more numbers in their backyard also have more competition.

There is absolutely zero reason our big three sports should not all be top 10 programs who win championships of various sorts. Instead we haven't won in baseball since 1990, in football since 1980, and never in basketball. And watch, there will be UGA fans on here who defend our administration and coaches for these failures. Having mediocre to poor programs in 2 of the big 3 should result in people's heads rolling until the athletic department and its coaches realize that it's not acceptable given the advantages our school has.

Incredibly frustrating. Hopefully one day the fan base will wake up and go "win or gtfo" to these administrators and coaches.

Guess St. Nick "blew" a few also as he didn't win a NC until his 9th year as a HC. In 2000 his LSU team lost to Florida 41-9. In 2001 he lost to Ole Miss.

Some of you Bammer retards have short memories. Kirby's only been a HC for 5 seasons. He has 3 more to go to beat Saban's first NC record. And he'll never lose to Floriduh 41-9, guaranteed.

Florida’s gonna beat Georgia’s arse every year regardless of how many 5 star bust QBs they get. We live rent free in their head and are their Super Bowl every season, they’re like somewhat successful vols.

Well since 2010

Auburn 4x
OLE MISS 2x
LSU 1
Texas A&M 1
Arkansas got very close.
Mississippi St got very close.

That's just from the Sec West.

In fairness they play Alabama every year, so they have more chances. Check back over the last 10 games Alabama and Georgia have played and it looks better for us. Going back to our last 10 games Georgia is 3-7 against Alabama, which would put us with the second most wins in the last 10 meetings.

LOL.

Last year was the perfect storm for UF and you still lost 4 games.

Congrats?

How long are you going to live off Kirby going to the "Rose Bowl"? That is bordering on 4 seasons ago

Kirby's record against the West is mediocre. He has benefited from an abysmal East. He has also choked in big games.

Our admins have a well balanced formula: we are just good enough where it counts (in football) to keep the profits rolling in while increasing our academic standing. As an alumnus, it's hard to argue against their strategy.

I admire your efforts to rationalize the whole 1980 thing as some sort of master administrative strategy to benefit academics and not just plain old futility.

I love the LSU fans chiming in. Your athletic program is the most corrupt program in the entire country and your team was a flat out joke last year.

It's only a matter of time til we get a Natty.

Other than Bama, all of you other SEC fanbases would LOVE to be in our shoes. Bringin in 5 stars all over the place.

We're better than BAMA this year and we wouldn've beat them last year if JT was healthy for that game.

It's futility but there is some blame to be laid at the feet of the admin. They refused to buy into the weapons race for years. Hell, Richt had to pay out of pocket a time or two. Still, we had our shots and came up empty.
