Hill and Dear, I think had longest runs of 5 yards and both got theirs late in 4th quarter. Takes those away and you have 5 carries for 11 yards. They were bottled up pretty well, but yes...to your point, I was surprised they gave up on the run so quickly. They ran the ball mostly in the 1st quarter, then when they got very little gave up on it. The offense just couldn't do anything. Once they gave up on the run, Georgia began bringing blitzes and kept Simpson off balance. If he was getting sacked he was running for his life and making throws from awkward positions.

The game felt closer to 65-7 than it did 28-7 and after the blocked punt never had the tone of a result that would be contested.
