Yes, but nothing like their undergrads. There are still more Mexicans than there are at A&M. I don't know if that has been the case at tu since the top 10% rule was implemented. My high school was about 10-15% asian. I was shocked at how few there were at A&M.

Did I meet you at the Florida tailgate?

If not, you may be the guy he was talking about that wanted to bring the Bogie's trailer for tailgating for the LSU-A&M GAME?

Don't get me wrong. Gainesville isn't bad in and of itself. Your cops make it miserable for visiting fans however.

So are A&M's cops, to both Aggies and visiting fans.

My buddy dropped a red cup and was given a littering ticket, probably 30 minutes after the UF game ended. The fine? $400

A PI is $480

No joke

I have a feeling cops in A&M aren't bad if you're minding your business. I was in CS last year for the SMU-A&M game and never had a problem. In Gainesville the cops go out of their way to frick with visiting fans.

CS and A&M cops aren't bad at all if you aren't drawing attention to yourself. The fines on the otherhand, suck.

If you're asking for it, the fines are steep.

Our cops are a pain in the arse if you are acting like a fool and carrying a beer can or bottle.

I've never seen anyone get busted that wasn't drunk, being an arse or carrying beer blatantly in the open. My red solo cup and some decorum have kept me out of the pokey.

They are all FSU grads anyway.

The florida experience truly is sub-par, unless you like gold chains, fro wigs, tank tops, and tickets for drinking and partying.

Anywhere where I have to worry about walking around with a beer doesn't sound fun to me. We have no problems with that in College Station.

Sorry, can't go with you on that one. A&M has long been regarded as having a very hospitable fanbase. This was hardly a one-off, glad to be in the SEC sort of thing.

This.

Apart from the titty-baby College Station reviews you'll receive from horns (and possibly TX Tech & Baylor malcontents), you'll be hard-pressed to find an opposing fan base who hasn't enjoyed their experience(s) in College Station--win or lose. That sounds vain/egotistical, I know; but it's not meant to. Ags just typically take shite in stride (good Lord, have you seen the insults we receive daily?), and we tend to look at life with an, "oh, well, frick it--let's all enjoy each other's company" attitude.

Poor Aggie hospitality towards our guests is a damn serious offense. And that's not a manufactured claim. On the contrary, we very much enjoy hosting visiting fans. If an Ag is seen disrespecting a visitor to our stadium/campus/city, he/she is promptly called out.

I read a UF message board post this past week from a Gator who described his amazing time in Aggieland a couple of weeks ago; yet he concluded by saying that his positive experience made our team/fanbase "weak" and "un-SEC-like." Who knows? Maybe it does. But it's who we are. And that's not going to change.

Looking forward to hosting each of your teams for many years to come.

We were not allowed to play beer pong. They even photographed the tailgate to document the time/location should we start playing again. They also ID'd everyone at our tailgate even though we were all alums/grad students.

Gainesville PD then walked right by the blue and orange tents to the next purple and gold tents.

I alluded to this earlier. UFPD is hands down the worst in the conference.

I don't think you'll get many arguments about this.

I've never seen them bust folks willy nilly though. I usually tailgate in the Bull Gator lot by the stadium though so I imagine I'm insulated from the UFPD fairly well.

You're also wearing the right colors, from UFPD's point of view.

I honestly wonder how long the current situation can continue before the other schools in the conference make formal complaints.

We haven't met. And I'm not in that bogies crew, although I did grow up in welsh. Big Kat is a good friend. We were talking about the tailgating dynamic in CS (because I'll be at the TAMU/LSU game). Your name came up as a guy who was accommodating to someone who liked to rockout
