Nov. 15, 2014 at Georgia L 34-7 7-3 (4-3)

If so, how would you have expected this team to fare the following year?
11/3 vs. *Louisiana State (12-2) L 34 41 6-3 (4-2)
11/10 @ *Mississippi State (8-5) L 12 17 6-4 (4-3)

12/30 vs. Colorado (6-7) W 30 24 7-6

I was really hung up on your moronic comment about Auburn's 2011 season. Point being that we lost a ton more than just the guys that went pro.

No we're just better than you.

Malzahn's arguably had more talent here since becoming HC than he did in 2010.
No one really denies that. However, to claim there was only one and then two players that won that championship is grossly wrong. There are many players that are good/great college football players that fit in a system or scheme, but do not have the chops for pro football.
Although Cam and Nick were the catalysts for the 2010 team, there were plenty of other reasons and players that made that season happen. The reason that 2010 team won was because they had a strong united team off the field and very good leadership throughout the team. They were a very good TEAM with two superstars to propel them.
Do you even remember the guy that turned the momentum around in the IB that year? Hint, it wasn't Fairley or Newton.

If I remember, we lost close to 40 of our scholarship players after the 2010 season for one reason or the other.
Thats almost half. Plus we did not have a viable QB in the house. It should have been expected that we fell off.
The 2010 team was stronger mentally than any other team we have had in a while.
Personally, I like the 2013 team better because those bastards would not quit. Was like magic..

When did pointing out the obvious become egotistical?

All good points
Yes, the 2013 team had incredible heart and football miracle dust...

Yep, saying 2010's team was a two man team based on 2011 is borderline retarded.

Using the draft as a complete measure of football talent is foolish. Too many draft busts and too many examples of guys going undrafted but being successful in the NFL.
Auburn had more NFL talent than the draft showed, but shiny nickels often hold the attention of children.
To discount the schedule the 2010 Auburn Tigers defeated is also foolish. It is by far the most difficult road of any national champion in history.
GD is right though the 2015 Tigers are better than the 2010 team, but talent doesn't win championships alone.

The most overlooked aspect of the 2010 team was it's unusually high conversion rate on 3rd and 4th short...It was off the charts. Cam, oline w/ 2 NFL guys, Dyer and Lutz were all a part of making that possible.

Yeah, no talent at all.
Average SEC players that can be found at any Big 6 school in any given year.
2010 Auburn was an above average team with a couple of superstars. How many games did they win by 3-8 points?
Without Cam, 2010 Auburn is the same as 2009 Auburn and 2011 Auburn.

Your troll has already been used several times in this thread. You'll need some fresh bait to fish this late in the game.

Auburn won 6 games that year by less than a TD.
They were a good team that was made great by the phenomenal play of a few players, specifically QB. To deny that Cam was the difference in several games is just silly.
This AU team, as a whole, is more talented as a whole than that 2010 team - though this team may not have anyone at the high end level of a Cam (#1 NFL draft pick).

Show me anyone that has denied this?
