Probably that too, but I doubt anything happens if Garrett hadn’t taken him down when it wasn’t necessary.

Garrett has been consistently flagged all year long for late hits on the QB. If the NFL is consistent ala Burfict; he may be suspended indefinitely.

Yup.

Now while I expect Garrett out for the season, I wouldn’t be surprised if his penalty carries into next season too.

You realize that Ray Rice would've never been banned if there weren't tapes, don't you?

You could have asked that in the same post. Yes, he takes too many plays off.

He was a great player at Aggie. I do remember reading articles back then saying he wasn't a very good teammate. They made it seem like he thought he was above the rest.

Did any of you Aggies ever hear about this?

Especially 53 going to shoe town on Garrett.

53 is one of those Pouncey boys, from the Gators. While he may get punished too, I commend him. You always protect your QB, and teammates. The film shows that he was looking the other way when the incident started. He saw the fight and jumped in to protect his QB. MG swung the helmet and Pouncey dispensed some justice.

didn't seem to hurt Randy White's career (he's in the Hall of fame) when he hit a guy with a helmet. Now the guy had his helmet on, but he did hit him in the head with a teammates helmet. Not even sure he got suspended.
