That’s exactly what he should be say about his OC. Maybe he’s got a point that Satt is calling the right plays but the execution isn’t there.

Having the right personnel is crucial to calling plays and one missed block or player running the wrong route can ruin a play.

Give him a few years to see if he is able to bring in the right players to fit his scheme and maybe we won’t be calling for his head all the time.

Looking at film, Lloyd isn't wrong. There are plenty of opportunities on nearly every play that the USC offense misses.

But the problem is, that they still miss. The execution of the game plan is too sloppy in that the game plan itself may be overtly complicated. I think Satterfield overthinks what he's trying to do. Some of his concepts are slow to develop, and Rattler doesn't see them like he ought to.

My only complaints about Satterfield are these:

He seems to not have a well developed sense of what to call when. That is the right call for the flow of the game. Spurrier was a master of it and kind of spoiled us.
Second, his system is overly complex. It amplifies mistakes like missed blocks or lining up out of position.

Beamer said in the post game interview he had to go yell at Satterfield to get our playmakers the ball.

I don’t disagree, but calling 3 pass plays on the 5 yard line after a turnover doesn’t help what people think of you.

Was screaming my head off to run the ball there. If it's 21-0 after 1 instead of 17, I think the fight might've gone out of Aggy a little quicker

Exactly ... could not agree more.

But, Rattler's WRs drop 150-200 yards worth of balls - one or two of them TD throws - and that makes me want-to question our WR coach at times. Not only that but our WRs are not the greatest blockers in the conference, not by a long shot.

Also, that decision to go-for-it on 4th and 2 rather than kick the FG .... that had-to-be Beamer's call, not Satterfield's. We go up by 12 rather than turning the ball over on downs, up by 9 .... that's mind boggling to-me, imho.

Those are the things driving me nuts.

Like our onside kick a couple two or three games ago in which we failed. And the onside kick by A&M last night in which we failed to cover. Those things are not good ... someone is making bad decisions in those cases.

Absolutely Beamer’s call.

I hope he heard me yell at him “Bet you’ll kick a FG next time, Coach” as he walked into the tunnel after his interviews.

It amazes me how many people said “you should just be happy with the win” after I said that.

One of the worst offenses I've ever seen and I watched Dondrial Pinkins play
