Your argument is frick FSU who is scheduling 2 P5 OOC opponents because of some dead people's decision from 30 years ago. frick their players. They chose FSU and should have known better?

No, I did not say that. You took a pretty straight forward statement about how their conference alignment helps them sometimes but could hurt them more in the playoff era and injected all this emotional stuff into it.

It sucks for their team but their resume sucked arse because the ACC was not good in 2023. The two SEC games probably helped their SOS from being bottom half of FBS quality. FSU was going to need a dynamic playmaker at QB to allow the human factor to pick them over what every metric says about FSU.

Louisville was ranked 14th just yesterday.

I assumed they would have been dropped out of the Top 20 after losing to Kentucky and that shite show yesterday. Statement retracted

The committee changes its criteria every year based on who they want in. The bias and involvement of the networks is obvious.

Yet we beat Georgia. What does that say about them?

The better question is why were they in the Top 20?

The lost to 3-9 Pittsburgh and 7-5 Kentucky.

That's not a Top 20 resume.

But go ahead, defend it.

LSU turning out to be shitty this year really dragged this number down. Unlucky for FSU.

I'm glad we straightened out that they were in the top 20, you can stop deflecting now.

Perhaps you should take some screenshots and make a response thread about it.

I don’t know. Maybe looking like a shitty offense, that would get steam rolled in the CFB Playoffs, against Florida and super over-rated Louisville team that had just lost to Kentucky!

I see you have Michigan avatar…..guess you wanted to play FSU instead of Bama. Sorry but they are going to boat race your shitty team!

That literally has been how it worked every year before this season.

I’m saying that being an undefeated P5 never was some metric that was highlighted by the committee. SoS was though.

There was no question. A statement was made that has since been retracted.

Beat UGA which was the best win in CFB all season and trumps all of FSUs wins combined plus some.

Show me where in the selection criteria it says "undefeated":

quote:

The CFP Committee will consider four criteria when teams are deemed comparable: championships won, strength of schedule, head-to-head competition and comparative outcomes of common opponents."
