Vince Young was a great player. Fell right along the lines of Johnny Football. He couldn't make it in the pro's, has a substance abuse problem and can't even hold down a 6 figure job the university gave to him. All he had to do was show up occasionally. I lost count on his number of DUI's. Is he in jail or out of jail right now? Great player back in his day though.

And yet it is one of the largest universities in the world. Much bigger than any other SEC or Big 12 university. Guess Eric did not know what he is talking about.
Eric was a great football player. Great football players are not necessarily all that bright though. Look at Vince Young

Weird example. Sure VY's teams beat A&M as those were the depths of the Fran years but VY actually never played particularly well against A&M. In fact his pedestrian performance in 2005 (13/24 Passing for 162 yards with 1 TD and 1 Pick to go with 19 yards rushing on 11 carries) cost him the Heisman to Reggie Bush. Texas won but they had far superior talent to A&M.
The irony was Texas wasn't that complicated to beat with VY, they were just a pure Read Option team and VY liked to pull the ball. If you made sure to keep a spy on VY and hit him every time you had a good chance and it nearly worked for a horribly undermanned A&M team in '04 and '05. RO doesn't work in the NFL so VY didn't last long, he was also a complete idiot.

I was replying to a poster that brought up Vince Young (a Texas player) in a topic that had absolutely nothing to do with Texas. Probably because he was red-faced over those meanie rant bullies making fun of his rough tough, real stuff FIGHTIN TEXAS AGGIES!!

The male / female ratio is 53% / 47% respectively.
That means aTm has approximately 34k female students.
Their female student population is equal to LSU’s entire student population.
So, strange point to make.

I have a cousin who graduated from A&M around 25 years ago. He still lives in College Station with his husband. That's all I know.

Lol..your public ignorance noted. You obviously haven’t see the women of A&M. Way, way more beautiful than LSU. Lol...not my opinion, fact. Texas A&M has had TWO Miss USA winners, LSU zero.
