Low has Edward Aschoff stepping in and helping him when he is off- here is how he answered a question about State:

Mississippi State could be a team that takes a spot in the BCS this season. But would it really be a shock with all the attention the Bulldogs are getting? Yeah, I think so. State returned all of its offensive playmakers, has a quarterback ready to explode with his arm, a tough running game and depth at receiver. The linebacker situation concerns me, but I really like the secondary. Talk about playmakers. This team won't sneak up on people, but it has the talent to stay in games with the "big guys" of the conference. I wouldn't be shocked at all if State was in the thick of the SEC West race at the end of the year

I actually think State could be the team that shocks with how bad their record ends up, similar to Ole Miss last year. They have a lot going for them, but they are still either the 4th or 5th best team in the West depending on what Auburn has to say about that.

I agree. I have hated Relf but when he got into trouble and started making the smart choice and throwing the ball out of bounds instead of a pick i came around ish. We should be excited. But people on here will come out of the woodwork to give you shite on this one im sure

State is going to be unstoppable next year. Best qb in the league and their running backs will be unstoppable. Also their defense will probably allow fewer points than alabama this year.

this has been a great series. I respect what both teams are doing and it looks like they will be the teams to beat in a couple of years. hell probably next year.
