Here's some truth for you:
6. Getting offensive: blah, blah, blah, etc.
No, maybe a tad bit defensive:
Bamers played 3 games and you just as soon say all three were at home (one in the Atlanta Dome)
Against three teams with a current strength average of 81.0
LSU played 3 games, opened on the road to a very underrated Washington team that beat USC and then played two other Div.1 teams and their combined strength average is 83.3
So, thus far it looks like LSU has played the overall tougher scheduel ...
These are team strenght stats, not inflated individual stats....

Shawn alexander, 5 star RB, still holds many All TIME PREP football records, was redshirted his freshmen year at Alabama. isnt he one of the best RBs Bama has ever had, and wasnt he the NFL MVP one year??? Just something to think about before you keep making yourself sound like a complete nut job
And that's the last we'll hear from him in this thread..

Holding ALL-TIME PREP (as you called them) football records in the state of Kentucky is comparable to holding records in basketball in Mexico. There just aren't that many people who are going to break them.

You are obviously not real smart. Discuss.

I wish our 5 star freshman RB was getting the carries instead of the mighty midget.

bcshog, it's either the short man has the brains to learn the system or the 5* was over-rated coming in. but, then your 5* guy was hyped maybe both physically and mentally?

I don't know to be honest. We have FIVE highly touted backs on our roster. Smith,Curtis,Johnson,Greene, and Wingo. Personally I'm afraid we're seeing exactly the opposite of the scenario we seen under Nutt. Practice is almost exclusively geared towards the passing game and so the RB aren't flourishing. This is the start of the second season and so far Smith is the only back that accomplished shite. I know this irks a lot of my fellow Hog fans; but I'm just as against a one dimensional passing offense as I was against a one dimensional running offense.

are the two RBs ahead of TR as talented as Scott and Williams
Yes.
Another reason you cant talk football with gumps.

Alabama puts the best players on the field regardless of what year they are currently in, it's whoever gives them the best chance to win. 5 star RBs like Ford are not supposed to redshirt, unless they are way overrated and don't deserve that high of a ranking.
This has to be one of the dumbest post I have ever read. I am through talking with anyone from Alabamya.

We dont want to run in to this problem again. Not the title game, but his career, post freshman year. We cant burn out Ford too soon.
Joking of course. He's just the last freshman starting rb I could think of.

Trying to keep this topic alive, where is Dr. Scoop?
Eddie Lacy is going to be a great RB. Lacy arrived on campus just before fall camp and hasn't had time to learn the system. Lacy is a player and will see a lot of playing time while he is at Alabama.

alright scoop come clean? you know as much about Louisiana talent, Nick Saban. you even had the opportunity to throw balls in Tiger Stadium during pre-game warmups, at least you said that on this board! Do I smell a weasel in the hen house here? I'm beginning to think you work for Mal Moore and you are directly involved in the scam of getting $aboni take his pro job, setting it up for your yamma bammas after his bogus fail there. after all the SEC office is not far down the road Tuscaloosa? Come clean Scoop, not that I expect you too? Sure, seems like someone inside LSU who isn't so naive, would look into you, if you get what i'm saying?

This is a stupid fricking argument.
However...
Ingram, Upchurch >>>> Williams, Scott
... so far this season anyway.
Ingram has been the best RB I've seen so far in the SEC this year.

I will give you this if you agree that
Lafell and toliver>>>>Julio jones
so far this year, from what I have seen.
See how I did that.

Recruiting rankings were not nearly as possible back then.. but look at this.
In 1995, in his senior season, Alexander rushed for 3,166 yards and a state record 54 touchdowns[3] and was named Kentucky's "Mr. Football".[4] In three varsity seasons, Alexander rushed for 6,657 yards and 110 touchdowns—both of which are Top 10 prep all-time records.
Trent as a comparison.. rushed for 2,090 yards and 25 TDs during his senior season. Is that enough? Just admit that the Alexander comment burned you pretty hard

And Noah Ingram from Ruleville, MS, is the all-time leader in rushing yards and TDs for the state of MS. Do you know who he is? Exactly. High school stats don't mean shite.
