Last year, the bye week only helped so much because the offensive personnel was young and the QB just wasn't playing at an SEC level. This year, with the offense playing much better over the last three games, especially in the passing game, we are going to see several new wrinkles.

Eventually, LSU will settle down and run the ball the way we are used to, but I wouldn't be a bit surprised to see them come out throwing in a 3 WR I and go hurry up the first drive to get Bama in a base defense and keep them there. Saban HATES that. Just like his past week, they will look for big pass plays early, rather than late.

Hey bud, those teams are ranked that low because they have played LSU. LSU is averaging 309 rushing yards per game. Their lowest average yards per carry for an eligible rb is 5.8. Fournette is not the only guy that runs the ball and Fournette is due for a big gain. He has not broken a 25 yard run since South Carolina. I think Fournette will have plenty of tough 3 yard carries, but he will break one and run right by Ragland and Foster for a 40+ td. Williams should get some nice, tough carries, but Guice is the one that could stretch the defense out. LSU will get 200 yards on the ground at the very least. Fournette will account for most of that. He gets 100 without breaking a big gainer. With the big run, he's around 150. Also, he wasn't even the top rusher on the team when we played the 128th rush defense. LSU set an SEC rushing record that game so nice research.
