Hate to see that but the recruiting never really took off under his tenure. There's a fair amount of talent in the Maryland/DC/Northern Virginia area but 99% of the good players end up at UVA, Penn State or maybe Virginia Tech or some other schools.
It's a very rare kid who says, "It's been my life long dream to suit up for Maryland!".

Bring him back. His offense in 2018 or 2019 was fun to watch

2018. 2019 was Sark’s first of two years.
Unless he’s bringing 5 NFL WRs and 2 NFL QBs plus an OL of all NFL players, I think he’d stink in 2026. In fact, he got exposed a bit against the three great DCs and defenses he played that year but the pure talent advantage overwhelmed one, other required a great comeback, and the final one contained the offense.

I think Deboer should bring him on in a analyst role.

Would definitely be an asset on the staff somewhere.
