Bruh, Tua cant even make it thru half of a college season without getting banged up, hows he going to make it thru a pro season which will now be longer than ever.
Both ankles will be stronger than before.
But I didn't know they were allowed to hit a QB in the NFL still.

Now ask yourself where the next weakest link is if his ankle wont sprain.

Elbow right?

I'm just saying the long term ramifications of the tight rope surgery arent known, if it had no risk and simply made the ankle stronger everyone would be doing it.
Tua's hip issue is a big enough deal by itself without the rest of the issues.

Because if he can stay healthy you are set at QB for awhile.
And what evidence is there that suggests he can? Exactly, stupid. Plus he was garbage in just about every big game he ever played in.
Sorry, I’m not drafting someone that had one memorable half of football two years ago (and he wasn’t superb in that one half).

Update: Nick Saban Says Tua Tagovailoa Is 'Durable' amid Injury Concerns Ahead of Draft
quote:
Alabama head coach Nick Saban came to the defense of Tua Tagovailoa in the wake of concerns about his durability leading up to the 2020 NFL draft.
Appearing on ESPN's First Take, Saban explained that some of Tagovailoa's injuries are the result of trying to do too much:
"I think that Tua is a durable guy; he's a hardworking guy; he's a very physical built guy. I think, you know, Tua is a great competitor, and I think that if you look at a lot of the injuries he's had here, and just about every one of them, it's because he is a great competitor, and a lot of quarterbacks would have thrown the ball away already, you know when he maybe got hit late in a down. Both of his ankle injuries and his hip injury all came late in a down where you could argue that: 'Why do you still have the ball? The play is dead, why don't you just throw the ball away?' And I think that this is something that he needs to learn, you know, how to do, because he's such a great competitor; he wants to make a play."

Uhhhhh, Nick, I like you man......... you're a good dude. You're a great coach. Probably the greatest to ever do it. But this right here... all of it... is total bullshite. The guy is the opposite of durable. No NFL exec is going to fall for this.

No doubt his injuries would've been less or even not happened had he thrown the ball away more often, so I can see it.
Don't thinks he's durable though. Don't know if I'd go that far.

His most serious injury came from this. It's not a particularly egregious hit. This happens in every NFL game.

Yeah, but if he gets rid of the ball sooner he doesn't take that hit. And the NFL protects QBs.

Right. But that is more of a question on his decision making not his durability.

I already said he wasn't durable.
Did you even read the quote?
Saban is saying he needs to learn to throw the ball away more often.
