The Saints signed Ingram because he was their cheapest option. They found out this year that you get what you pay for. They seem happy having a 700 yard rusher as long as they have a Drew Brees as their feature player. You see what those results got them.

A $4,000,000 a year RB was their cheapest option? The 10th most expensive RB contract in the entire league was their cheapest option? He only played in 12 games this year due to injury, and he finished with a higher YPC than he did last year when he made the Pro Bowl.

For what they had on the roster he was. The Saints fan would not have accepted them dropping their running game and going after a FA to save a little money. After the last few years, Management also had to play to the disgust of the NO Fans. The had to juggle salary cap issues along with fan disgust. Ingram was their best option, it just didn't work out.

Typical bammer, they do not understand the entire story.

You need to stop talking about something you don't know anything about. You're making yourself look foolish.

You realize the Saints went out and picked up CJ Spiller for another $4 Mil/Yr, right? Would have been pretty damn easy to get rid of Ingram in the process. Instead, they signed him to a contract worth $16,000,000.

He better hope it is guaranteed money, because Saints fans are pissed. My guess is he will be on the Trent track within two years.

He would be on a lot of teams practice squad if he wasn't with Jacksonville.

$6.1M guaranteed. Higher YPC than he had when they were deep throating his cock around this time last year. 3 fewer TDs, having played in 4 fewer games. If he hadn't gotten hurt, he would have finished with over 1,000 yards easily.

You are legitimately stupid. It's exhausting trying to have a simple conversation with you. Only played in 12 games and had 740 yards. Missed 4 games and still finished in the top 25 of NFL RBs.

Damn son. Get your shite together.

This is a guy who has signed contracts for over $25M and has yet to break 1000 yards No, he isn't a bust. Thanks for proving my original point.

He totaled over 1000 yards from scrimmage despite missing 4 games. He was graded as the 12th best RB by PFF. You're a stupid troll.

The Saints haven't had a 1000 yard rusher since 2006, you retard. Think that might have something to do with the system? Yeah? Okay.

He was on pace to shatter that and got hurt.

Ingram was on pace for 1500 total yards of offense before he got hurt.

My point, what success are you talking about? 1000 yards rushing for a starting RB is average at best. Anything less is poor, especially when you do not have a stellar QB in the franchise.

On pace my arse. His injury saved him from being embarrassed to take the Saints money.

There were a total of 7 RBs in the entire league that broke 1,000 yards this year.

I'll be sure to let the others know they suck.

Quick, tell me how bad Julio Jones is.

So you're calling him average? Again 12th best RB according to PFF.
But what's the point with arguing with you? You never admit any Bama player outside of Julio to be even somewhat decent. You just despise everything Bama.

Julio is the only one worth a shite. I like Cooper, but he needs to get out of OAK. The majority of the rest of them are average.
