I think that Texas pride is fine. I think that school pride is great. But when someone uses the word "former" to explain things correctly, and you Ags get into a tizzy because of it, its dumb. Most people will still view a former player of their school as still a part of their school, but it doesnt mean they arent former players. Its was just a lame correction and about ten of you did it.

No one got in a tizzy, wtf are you talking about?

We explained our verbiage and OP got his jimmies rustled about it.

No one was arguing whether he was a former player. We were saying he's not a "Former Aggie," as the OP's title suggested.

To you, a non-Aggie.

We are nothing if not tradition-savvy

Just like when y'all went in to a tizzy when we said we "beat the hell outta" Alabama, when that exact line is in Rammer Jammer?

1. Texas pride is stupid. It's nothing more than celebrating a state with an inflated ego.
2. What the frick does that have to do with anything
3. Gig em is also stupid. How many times do you think people who don't watch football or anything are gonna look at a t-shirt that says thay and think "Gig em? These dumbass texans must not know how to say Get em."

DAMN. frickING. STRAIGHT.
And for the record, the fact that non-Texans hate it only makes our ego bigger. So thank you, I guess

To you. And nothing in your mind could ever "justify" it to you, so it's beside the point anyway.

I think the Texas attitude is a lot like the jersey shore attitude. In terms of how they think about themselves anyway.
Congrats on being in such good company.

Again, we know we are full of ourselves and our state
And we are that way on purpose.
Congrats for figuring out the obvious, I guess

But you aren't the Alabama full of it.
You see, unlike Texas, we only beat ourselves. We are undefeated against everyone else. We've beaten ourselves 13 times since NS has been here and we are working on making that better. Besides, we win unanimous NCs every year even if we have 1 win

So long as you are aware of the unfounded arrogance you act with, I am fine with it.
