None of that matters because fans aren't coaching major college football
What matters is a lack of fortitude to be in even decent shape. There will be some players that think "why should he expect me to be in such great shape when he doesn't even care about himself", and they would have a valid reason to think that.
And sitting in the living room of a recruit's parents? It just looks bad when you're a fat slob.
