Texas politics forced us to create the Big 12 when SWC died. Being the flagship comes with some responsibility to the lesser schools in the state, especially when they had high placed alums in Anne Richards and Bob Bullock. We got here eventually.

Maybe a hot take here but this thread might be an example, Texas moving to the SEC will be harder on Arkansas (and its fans) than Texas A&M

I accept this thread as admission that we made the correct move in coming to the SEC. Also, by your logic, you must be running away from someone. Kansas, maybe?
