no one says they are. But our defensive staff is as good,if not better than Alabama's.
There are numerous other boards you are welcomed,and indeed encouraged to participate in that are Alabama forums and you can find thousands of people eager to agree with you that Alabama is the best in everything.

This is "my daddy can beat up your daddy" stuff!!
There are a dozen or so major college teams with staffs good enough to win the BCS CG on a regular basis (obviously, it takes some luck and circumstances to get to the game).
Why battle over "mine's better than yours"? BOTH staffs are good enough to win it all. It will be fun watching them try to get there.

The way I look at it Lsu=2 championships in last 5 yrs, Bama=0 . Cry to $aban a little more, he'll get you a banner to hang.

LSU has a good defensive staff, even though Chavis' defense didn't do so hot against us the past few years. I'll take Saban over anybody this conference has to offer as a great defensive mind.
As another poster stated though, we all have great defensive staffs so there's no use in arguing over who's better.

So, when I was seeing/reading the STUNNING amount of threads concerning FEELINGS about how Rivals is Crimson biased.. and that LSU should have been #1, and the 40 points we got... and the fact that if you average all of the major recruitment sources' scores then LSU ends up with the #1 class... and dude, this list goes on and on and on and on.
You can't seriously tell me that LSU fans wouldn't have boasted if they had goten the #1 class VIA rivals. They had it all year and no LSU fans were bashing it then. But because Bama ends up strong, there was a bazillion threads started over this...and even when the threads didn't START about it, it would turn INTO a freaking
fest. I KNOW i'm not the only one that saw this, was annoyed by it, and laughed that folks cared SO much about the #1 class...
i vote that regardless of who you cheer for, if you are more concerned with the rank of your recruiting class and NOT the actual men that got recruited, then you're a dang fruitcake.
i guess it's important to know how fan bases differ... but for CRIPES sake, this is a horribly weak argument. ANY fan base, particularly the ones on forums like these, would do the exact same thing. BRAG over what cool things happen to them.

not that I give a shite and am crying about a banner needing to be hung somewhere, LSU wasn't the only fanbase doing this.

When you say LSU wasn't the only fanbase doing this.. i wasn't saying they were man. the reason i posted was to laugh at the fact that your whole reason for posting was that you wanted to draw negative attention to our fanbase and point out how obsessed or crazy / stupid they were and how great LSU fans are in comparison.
Also, when you said I should read the whole thread to see what it's about... i always thought the thread was about whatever the original post mentioned.
and look, i even think there's a good reason to post the differences between fanbases.. just not when they don't make any sense.

i mean... it is cool that finally we can recruit. it's been a long time since we were able to pull classes like these.
and i think it's fairly easy to say we will never have less than a top 10 class with saban. considering the first class he got was #10 and that was with only a couple months to recruit.

It hasn't been 1 week since LSU fans were building spreadsheets and putting together an investigation to "expose" how Rivals cheated for Alabama in the point totals. Some of you still refuse to admit you were wrong.
Don't even try and say that you guys didn't try and put up a fight to get #1 spot taken away from us.
