Florida's shot at repeating

How good is it? Let's say they lose Harvin and Spikes, but Tebow stays. Do they have a favorable schedule next year? I know Tebow will want to go undefeated because Florida has never done that and because it will be his senior year, and honestly when he gets his mind set, can anyone stop him?

it's pretty much certain.

This is not the Big 10. Winning the SEC championship is not easy.
They will be one of the contenders. But, I'd say it will be very difficult.

95% if they don't lose anyone.
80% if they lose one out of Harvin/Spikes.
50% if they lose both Harvin and Spikes.
5% if they lose Tebow, Harvin and Spikes.

Toughest road trips will be LSU and USCe.
We get UT and FSU at home.
Jawja up in J-ville.
Favorable.

Georgia underperformed and the SEC West has a bunch of teams on the cusp of something great.
Down years happen.

That does look favorable, UF will be favored in every game. The LSU game will be a win for UF as long as it is a 2:30 CBS game.

I thought based on the bowl games, it turned out not to be a down year after all?

agreed. I do NOT want to play LSU at night. But 2004, 2007 and 2008 were night games so it may be a trend??

It may have LOOKED easy, but UF is a great team and worked to earn that 'easy looking' championship. Next season, it starts all over again.
I am not saying they will NOT do it. Just that it is less than a given and will be difficult.
When was the last back-to-back SEC champ? How many have there been?
Can they? absolutely.
WILL they? perhaps.

last back to back? 95/96 I believe

pretty good I'd say. They'll clearly be the most talented team next year

They still lost to Ole Miss at home and took quite a while to put away Alabama. This UF team has been playing lights out for a while now and I'd be really shocked if anyone kept it close with them.

If we dont lose the Ole Miss game though, I saw us dropping two down the stretch.

Are we assuming they will beat OU ? I mean, I think they will, but the game still has to be played, right ?

Actually, winning in the SEC is not as difficult as some make it out to be. Beat Arky by 31, LSU by 30, Georgia by 39, SCAR by 40, Vandy by 28, UTenn by 24... pretty frickin easy.

No, that's bullshite hindsight. Who was gonna beat Florida down the stretch? Florida State? Georgia? LSU? SCAR? Nooooope.
