That's true. It's also not saying a lot, considering how Leak ran.

Why isn't one of the Jonas brothers ahead of Brantley? Can't get them to come around?

No, I wasnt there in 05, but that game is one reason Tebow chose UF...that and he's a big Gator fan.

Brantley and Joe Jonas are gonna split time vs LSU. Tebow will tutor them. Nick and Kevin aren't as far along as Joe.

How worried are the Gator fans right now?
Not real worried as our defense is coming around and our 2nd string QB is quite likely the 3rd best QB in the SEC.

Not really worried. Defense is good. Offensively the biggest difference is Tebow will not be there for 3rd down runs. Brantley is a pretty good scambler but cannot take the blows Tebow does.

You'll see the 06 offense with better RB's if Brantley plays the next game. You'll definitely see that next year.

LSU or UF fans won't know if Tebow will be playing until Oct 10th.

Urban will take a page from Les' playbook: Dance around injuries, double speak, mislead the media, and lead everyone on until gameday, when the truth is finally revealed.

With that said, giving Brantley all the snaps this week and possibly next week too (if Tim cannot play), will do nothing more than give Florida the element of surprise. LSU has practially zero game tape of what Brantley will do. Urban will concoct some new plays and Chavis will not know what hit him until it is too later!

It would be terrible if the coaches let him come back too soon and he got injured again in the LSU game.

The coaches aren't going to have a say in it. I know fans think that the coaches can tell the doctors what to do but it ain't going to happen with this type of injury under this type of scrutiny. If the doctors say he cannot play, the university is not going to be stupid enough to take on the liability of letting a player of Tebow's stature play against doctor's recommendations/orders.

As for Florida's offense, it's definitely going to change some. It changed as soon as Brantley came into the game against Kentucky. It's obviously not going to be a wholly different offense, but it'll be different. Brantley operates from under center at times, which Tebow never does, yet there are also read option plays with Brantley, etc.
