did UF or SMU get caught doing it for both football and basketball as Clem U got busted doing ?
Not sure on SMU, but we were just football. Got in trouble a few years later for basketball with Norm Sloan and Vernon Maxwell.

1958 or so. The 1990s were a bad period, but certainly don’t define LSU, except for people who have no knowledge of football before then.
My frame of reference starts in the 70s and the only time I saw LSU winning the SEC was when the SEC was down. LSU never won the SEC while at the same time being a national championship contender until the early 2000's.

The did not win their first SEC title until THE 1990's, you can't win when your wins got vacated. you do understand that right? Good grief.

No he doesn't, and hopefully we give a big middle finger to the presidents of the universities that voted to strip UF of the title post facto, and go ahead and claim '85 and '90 while we are at it. If not I can wait. With all the revisionist history going on regarding titles that mysteriously appear in media guides, I am now good with it. History is what ever you want it to be in this day and age.
