Yep. Sure we dont. Weird how Dawg fans think UF has a ceiling...yet 1980. Seems you should be more controlled in your hype train by now.

Gators shouldn't concern themselves with the opinions of the most underachieving team since 1980.
You have no idea what a championship team looks like, unless you're in your late 50's or early 60's.
1980 was a loooooooooooooooong time ago.

But they almost won one...and that is the same thing as winning one apparently.

The fear of UF is real this off season in the 1980 fans.

Leak had an up and down year. 23 td and 13 int. He was also crap running the ball.
Uf 2019 has a lot on common with that 2006 team. A lot of similar coaches too. We’ll see if they have the same injury luck.
The 2006 team only lost a few starts to injury all year long.

I have the SEC schedule printed off in my office and always predict all the SEC teams. I have Florida going 8-4.
October 5 Auburn L Gainesville, Fla.
October 12 LSU L Baton Rouge, La
November 2 Georgia L Jacksonville, Fla
The other loss take your pick. I believe Miami will give them a test, but the 4th loss will be from a SEC team.

You have no chance at making the playoffs.

Another day another Uf thread started by a dawg fan.

Why is everyone calling au at uf a loss? Freshman qb in the swamp? Not a recipe for success generally.

Because Georgia fans need UF to be bad.
They know UF is the East king and Georgia can only be great if UF is in an off year.
Sadly...not happening. It's why this preview was insanely negative instead of insightful. A lazy half assed listing to push UF as overrated.
Claiming Auburn for sure beats UF may be the stupidest thing I've heard possibly all offseason from a Georgia fan..and they have said some insanely dumb things this offseason.
Kirby had his second year glory and failed. Now his coaching staff is worse...and the regression will come. They have a large fear this has to be their year because next year a lot is changing. So they need to convince themselves UF has to be bad.
UF will be better this year. Deeper as well. I'd cross fingers and hope we lose 3 DB starters again. Cause that game was neck and neck before Henderson went down. It wasn't like LSUs beatdown where they rapped you for three quarters. Henderson went down, then the game finally broke.
Luckily Cheney is gone and the failure from Miami is there. He wont know how to exploit defensive weaknesses quite as well if they occur.

I actually picked the Gators to do better than most last year at 8-4 and to finish second in the East. I was almost right as they ended up a little better.
Just to show you how stupid all these prediction threads are, (other than WG's thread which is the GOAT) you don't even know your own predictions from last year. You didn't even bother to look it up.
You predicted the Gators at 9-3.

99% of the national guys covering college football will tell you that only about 8 teams have any real shot at the playoffs. Some may be only at UF's level, but they don't play in the SEC. Your ceiling is not the playoff. Even if you want to believe UGA is not near Bama level, so you can get to Atlanta, the problem is that your team is not near Bama level. You'll need both UGA and Bama to crap the bed. That ain't happening.
Mississippi State very nearly beat Alabama Mullen's last year at the school.
You guys may not want to admit this, but Mullen's a pretty damn good x's and o's guy. It's not really his fault that MSST is just the worst place in the SEC to coach at outside of maybe Ole Miss but even then those two schools often go last or second to last in every single category.
Even with the problems we had with our last class, missing like six players it was the best class Mullen's ever had.
If we get lucky, remain healthy and our offensive line comes together quickly Mullen will surprise you guys.

Honestly, I would've been happier if no Gator had responded. I agree, you shouldn't have even bothered.

They also lost to UGA by 28. Again, You can't expect both Bama and UGA to crap the bed.
