Florida Loss

I’ve noticed an overwhelming rebuttal from fans of these fraud first round exit teams. “Don’t lose to Florida” with zero nuance in an attempt to discredit Texas. Acting completely oblivious as a deflection tactic.
It’s no secret that Texas was a very inexperienced young team to start the season. After the Ohio State game it was apparent there was ton of dysfunction, confirmed in the UTEP Game. Texas didn’t have the opportunity to gather themselves vs Purdue, Boise State, NC State, etc. The way Notre Dame did. We had to hit the road for an entire month in the SEC and figure it out along the way.
When we played Florida, Arch manning was one of the worst QBs in the country in completion percentage. We had no healthy RB. We had no LG, Florida absolutely abused that matchup every snap. We were missing two starting DBs on a young secondary struggling with busts. Texas was capable of losing to much lesser teams than Florida that weekend. A Florida Team that was within a possession of teams like A&M, Georgia, and Ole Miss in the 4thQ. Hell, one controversial call allowed Georgia to get out of there with a win. Yet y’all pretend that it’s so inconceivable that the team Texas was at the time couldn’t have possibly lost to Florida.
